Qwest/CenturyLink Central Office Planner / Design Engineer (COEFM)
Broadband Engineering Solutions, Inc. (www.bes-inc.com), an eleven year old Solution Integration company providing E, F, & I services to National and Global service providers, and OEMs is currently seeking to fill positions for Central Office Engineers and Planners. Qualified candidates must be willing to work as 1099 Independent Contractors or as temporary employee. Positions are project specific and are expected to last 3 months with possible additional opportunities for 2012.
Overall Description: Responsible for the planning /creation and integrity of CPD documents and or the Design Work Package, Bill of Material (BOM), Installation Specifications, and the support of the assigned data for provisional flow through in a central office environment supporting Adtran’s (TA5000) product line. All work will be performed in the Denver Metro area. Specifically at the Qwest/CenturyLink Mineral Building location.
Desired Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
1. Qwest Central Office Design Engineering experience (COEFM) – Minimum of 2 years
2. Qwest Central Office Planning experience (CSPEC and or CPD) – Minimum of 2 years
3. Engineering / Design experience with Adtran product line(s) – Minimum of 2 years
4. Familiar with CPD, CSPEC, AMC and TIRKS supporting databases also a plus.
5. Ability to work in a face paced environment with minimal supervision
6. Excellent written and verbal skills.
